TANKED on Animal Planet

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i personally enjoy the show, and i love seeing the results and the diffrent fish they pick up. If they didint kno what they were doing i doubt they would be so succesfull :]]
I do agree on the barrel keg tank though, it resulted to having very limited space for the fish :p
but i dont think ppl should say they know nothing, or dont know about fish, unless your a fish expert to the T and have your own show on animal planet :P

I would say 90% of the fish they put in the NY themed phone booth tank where dead within 3 months

The tank is probably somewhere around 100 gallons and they have more than 50 fish in it including 6 yellow tangs :screwy:

Like I said I enjoy the show and they make amazing tanks but they do some silly things with stocking etc...

from what I read in another thread the phone booth ended up on craigslist

I have been a little hard on this show, but I actually enjoyed tonights ep. Well except for the pointless shark dive, you really need a cage for nurse and sand tigers?

Anyway, I thought the Fung Shui tank was fantastic, and while I haven't really like most of the other novelty tanks, the ship/bed tank was great for a kid.

I loved the Feng Shui tank. That is a good size 12' long 4' tall and 2 1/2' wide. I would like it to be 12 x 4 x 4 and it would be perfect. My 265g just looks so small after seeing these monsters. Hopefully the new 600g will make me feel a little better! lol

The new episode with the feng shui tank was actually really good. The customers actually opted for the reef set up, and they delivered! I feel that the customers have chosen the fake coral in the past for ease of maintence, this proved they can actually do a reef set up. The ship tank was cheesy, but for a little boy, nothing could have been better.

Didn't see this show, but as someone who has been in with sandtigers who have tweaked out, safety is job #1 when in with big sharks like those.

I remember it being 14 foot... but it was a great looking tank.
