Tankmates with JARDINI (READ!!!)

Alright ill give em a go....

What do you guys think about a freshwater crab or two with a jardini? I was going to get one today but I thought I better ask you guys/gals.

If you can provide enough hiding places for the crabs it may work.

However I can see the jardini going for them at any chance it gets.

I have a 14"-15" Jardini in with 12 7-8" Red devils, an 8" Jag, an 8" Black Belt, 9" Goldspot Gibbi, 8" Common Plec, 2 7-8" Chocolate Plecs and a 1" Common BN (thrown in for fun and survived so far - around a month!). All other tankmates have been together for around 6 months and the Jardini has been in for around 2 1/2 months. So far no probs at all!!

Jardini=Evil Fish...would never buy one again. Definitely a fish that kills just because.

I have a 5 inch jardini and it is extremely shy. It put up a fight with a LMB but was eventually over-run. The LMB grew at a faster rate, and my GG would constantly pick on both.

i put my previous 2 jardini's in a tank separated from my 5 silver aro's + red aro... i know for sure they will bite.

how about a jar and an arapaima gigas? is the gigas is SLIGHTLY bigger. will they kill each other?

i have a jar with a common pleco, so far no casualties. im planning to put in a common catfish (the brown colored catfish) dnt knw the name.. would that be ok?

considering the catfish might team up with the pleco and myt hurt the jar? is that possible? or the jar is still the boss no matter what?
