I think you misinterpreted why I brought that up, though. People stay in a dreamlike state for the first 15 seconds of waking up - Veterans with PTSD suffer from chronic nightmares.

I was just trying to point out that a persons judgement is heavily affected when they've just woken up - unless they're accustomed to waking up fast.

I understand where you're coming from. I tend to agree with you.

But, then again, we, as fathers of the teen, would not be defending him ( after the fact ), but avenging him, no?

right 100% but if he was my teen God forbid i couldnt avenge him if he was wrong. i might wanna get the the dad but then id be in the wrong. if he was say 10 he didnt know better(he should have but didnt), but a 15 year old knows right from wrong( and everything else if you ask them ). lol i think i might have to agree to borrow the pipe for the embarrasment you caused your mother and i though. i also agree great discussion.
