I talked to Li recently about his Cichla collection. The only ones he's sure of what it is and from where it is. Is his Golden Azuls. He made of that everything else was mixed.

Or my mono's turned out to be super mono's and he pulled one over on me..

Your theory is a viable one if Li will agree with it and isn't sure this is the same fish I gave him. But I would still like to see what Dmack, JuanTumad, etc think via looks as far as species.

It's a indeed a very nice looking Monoculus Jed. LOL you can't just leave it can you? It COULD be a hybrid, but I doubt it.. I just think it's a really nice Monoculus.

ya know.. i try not to get involved with the "experts" here.. but i've seen 3 different pics of these same fish and i've yet to see one that doesn't look like a temensis.

i'm NOT an expert, but i am a BIG fan of peacock bass.

i'm just putting in my two cents because some folks can't admit when they are wrong. Unless someone that they think is smarter than them tells them they are wrong.

But for all that vote tem why are you voting that? Is it because of the speckling or body features? If I put speckling on a mono is it then a tem to you?

Just trying to clarify if people are going on markings or body features? How are you who voted tem making the distinction?

Let's let the cat out of the bag how you know unless of course you're just guessing.

NEW FISH : Mo' Cocks ... thanks cichlaguapote

i can say 100% sure that that mono/tem is the same fish that i gave to kev over the weekend.

yes i have alot of cichlas... but those 2 mono/tem stand out from the rest tems i have.

the other mono/tem went to west coast...

See you can see the speckling in the first one.. :) I'm 100% sure it's the same fish too.

Jed what do you think of the fish in those pics via features?? Tems or Mono's or hybrid?
(serious question)
