And no, no they are not
They definitely are not known for "cichlid humps"
They are known for having nice colors that change often, being little pigs, and usually gentle giants. Not humps

There are some with what I would consider to be quite small 'humps' when compared to many other cichlids. That combined with the other, more obvious characteristics, made me come to my conclusion.
I don't agree that they all get nuchal humps. My chocolate is maybe 7" or so and shows no sign of a hump. There is also a cichlid dealer near me who gets large chocolates pretty regularly, in the 8 - 10" range, and not all of them grow a hump.

did some searching on the Web, and didn't find any with anything more than a nice, fat head . . .
i just dont understand why people feel the need to correct such trivial stuff. and to correct it in a rude fashion. miss information does not make some one less smart, just less informed. as for the hump....yeah ur right irish, its not a hump .....fat head yes. lets fine kinder ways to say things.
