He def socializing a lil more but it doesnt last long. Mainly back at his perch. Maybe he'll chill out ling term and stay in the big tank

aw. That makes me sad. Poor Nigel. I'd be his friend lol. Maybe he doesn't want to give up his spot by the warm water perch. Although it looks like in the pics, Nigel has been around with the other polys more. Or maybe I'm seeing things.

Got mine to eat pellets!!! Hopefully this gets better growth out of the little one. Currently about 3" maybe a tad less. Looks much smaller at this length than my others did but I'm guessing that is due to teug's more slender build

Mine is a little longer then the polli now but much thinner. So yeah I'd guess they look smaller because they are typically thinner polys.

Teug is getting thicker and pusing 12 inches.

Really intresting to see how fat it will get since WC teug are known to be slim.

So, its been a while sonce ive updated. My teug is pushing a little over 8" now.

I think it can still become thick, but I believe the weight will be well distributed throughout the body. Rather than like CB bichirs, the weight distributes on their upper body area.

I havent seen a thick WC teug, even Dr.B 28" teug was not thick.

The photos you saw were when he first got it. Given a few months in Dr.B's tank it should be pretty beast size. Of course, it's not going to be lower jaw bichir thick but definitely will be pretty thick.
