Teug growth thread

Here's my Teug, named Andraste. Got him in December at about 2.5" and now he's about 7". He's going through a crazy growth spurt right now, I'm pretty sure he's grown over 2" in the last month.

Here he is on the day I got him, still in QT

Im also intetested to see the differences in our teugs growth compared to water quality. Im going to try to keep the 75 gal between 5 and 10 ppm. May not come to fruition lol


Whats the everyones nitrates at wc time ?

I think it would I need to skip a feeding or two hopefully after I feed them tilapia tomorrow they go on a hunger strike. But I believe she's measuring at about 5.5" though she seems larger in person.

Yeah I shoot for topping out at 10ppm before a water change, but as you all know life can get in the way and sometimes it gets a little bit higher

Mine are currently on carnivore pellets and tilapia. I need to vary their diet more. But they are growing and they love to eat so as long as they're happy I'm happy.. haven't checked the water parameters for a week or two so I'm not sure what they're currently but I've never seen nitrates above 10ppm
