Teug growth thread

clm08k clm08k thanks! I hated having a barren growout so I planted it with the clippings from my main tank. Actually just went through and re- arranged it to give a little more swimming space and ditched the last of the plastic plants in it
 
So couldn't get a good pic of Lucifer but did get a measurement just shy of 6" 5- 7/8"ish give or take an 1/8th. Ill try and get a better pic today w/c and feeding should be able to.

No way I was getting a decent pic with the tape. You're just gonna have to take my word. But I'm not claiming any crazy growth I don't think anyway. 4 months a little more then double it's size. I'd say average UJ poly growth.

Checked my growout tank and my teug is measuring around 5" now. Still pretty thin though. Not bad growth so far. That's about 3" difference in the 2 months since I last was able to measure the little beast.

Yeah mine has definitely had a growth spurt the last month. Length and girth. If it keeps going then it may start catching up to the type of growth that others are seeing. I still feed every other day and mix up the food but mostly pellets of varying types, blackworms every once in a while, Tilapia every once in a while, main is typically carnivore pellets.
