Texas Cichlid- True or Carpintis?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hey guys. Cool that you bumped an oooooold thread of mine. After doing a bunch of research on these two fish, I went to the pet store and picked out what I thought was a H. carpintis..... I was wrong. But I am happy just the same

My H. cyanoguttatum @ roughly 11 inches and 3 years old.

i have an escondido from ken at fish farm who is doing great, but i just got an escondido from rapps last w/e and as nice as the fish i got from ken is, the one from rapps is spectacular at a juvenile stage. so he has some really good stock from my 1 specimen sample set.

Old thread or not, that's great info, as I have a Chairel and a Cyano and had some questions. Thanks for the info Broheim!!!!
