I agree, but I think it is a little unrealistic for him to look up every fish he gets in. My problems were with pbass and dats - two groups of fish where individual species can be very difficult to tell apart. It's not like he labeled a clown loach as a silver arowana here. Yes, I was disappointed that I didn't recieve exactly what I ordered and will be sure to have positive i.d.'s in the future, but looking at the big picture, I personally can't blame them for not knowing these subtle differences, and I am not looking to burn any bridges or hold any grudges for this. I advised him on what they should be labeled as, he heard me out, and he changed their names on the inventory list.

No reason to get your panties all in a bunch about this. After all, I am the one who was affected by this, not you, and I'm past it.

That is the best attitude to have. Thinking like that will earn respect

Thats all we wanted was some credit or refund because any lfs would give a 7 day guarantee. DW guarantees shipment and 7 days with stingrays, now come on. All i got was some advice for the next order???

Thats DW...this is TFD...different dealer. You can't get mad at him for something he never gauranteed. The fish ARRIVED alive, after that its all the hobbyist....can't blame him for something he didn't do.

Gotta remember these fish are coming straight from import and are stressed/no ajusted to your ph. Dirp acclimate um at a faster pace for about an hour then give it a go- no high power lights for the first few days/lots of people pressue or bully tankmates

I have had generally good luck with the fish from TFD. Sorry to hear problems others may have had......

I too bought dats(pulchers) from joe about 4 months ago and I believe it was five of them , three died and two are left ,however I did not say anything to Joe because the only promise was lLFG and that means delivered, we really don't have a leg to stand on at least I did'nt therefore he did not recieve a call from me in the complaint department. I asked for dats and thats what I recieved, now I don't know Joe from anyone else but if we waited for our local stores ....... we 's all be much older and none the wiser. maybe we should wait a little longer and let the Joe's sit on these guys a little longer and not tried to bump each other and be the first to own, maybe it will calm the prices a little as well so we are not so eager to pay the sometimes ridiculous prices of some these fishes, but that's just me we need a consenses , and to be uniform in our thinking if we're to do anything about our frustrations. " fish isn't my world but they make my world a little more pleasant"

hi all, orderd from joe few days ago a Flower ray and a castexi. both arrived in excellent shape. The flower ray was smaller than expected. But everything went well from airport to airport. No snafoos. Fish were packed very professionally. Very impressed. Good job. will do again but next time be more accurate with your measurements. Thanks
