I just joined this board a few days ago and was browsing this section. I thought I would let everyone know that Joe has always been top notch for me and my business. He stands by his sales, handles great fish, and treats his customers fairly every time.

Joe and TFD = Good People.

i agree with carpediem...i just got my tfd order to day and i had the shipped door to door and they were all fine!!!!!!!!!!
 
I had an 18 fish order from TFD and I lost all but about 6 of the fish. They all died in the first 10 days as well as my partner on the orders fish. Called Joe and he didn't seem to want to do anything for me. I am the last person to knock someone in this aspect but I must admit I am not happy with TFD. Sorry for contrdicting anything anybody else said or feel but that was my situation with TFD.

15 dats, 2 barrumundi, 2 rays. The only thing still alive is 4 of the dats and one of the rays. sux. All the dats died in the first 5 days. Gman went in with me on like 7 of them and he lost all but 1. These are the only fish I have lost since my last tig about 5 months ago.

Joe is a great guy. but i think he needs better quality assurance. my first order, the box was busted, and only two fish were alive, the rest were dead. Joe gave me credit for them. i ordered again. the few orders i put in, it's either the wrong fish were sent to me or too many dead fish arriving. i ordered synodontis decorus, but was sent synodontis nigriventis. i ordered the "flower perch" coreoperca whiteheadi, and was sent baramundis. i was given a discount on the next order. i ordered asian knifefish and was sent african knifefish. also, i spoke ot Joe and told him that 4 of the hybrid redtail catfish out of the five i ordered are all dead, but Joe said all his fish are still alive. Joe is a great pleasant guy, but i am turned off by the non chalant customer service. Just too many dead fish in the orders. Not very good experience. I kept quiet because Joe is a great guy, we usually tried to discuss this over the phone. but this is my testimonial. Everyone must realize, Joe is a businessman and has other priorities he needs taken care of. as a customer, it is hard for me to just keep receiving fish that die in three to five days. i guess it is a part of fish business online. my LFS would definitely give me some type of credit or discount on the next purchase. Also most of the fish that Joe have are straight from importers, so they have not been fully acclimated. so it is a tough business. i am sure there are luckier customers than me.
 
Thats all we wanted was some credit or refund because any lfs would give a 7 day guarantee. DW guarantees shipment and 7 days with stingrays, now come on. All i got was some advice for the next order???
