Nice endlis.

Personally, I"d be concerned with the lack of water exchange in those containers, especially with them pooping in there. Just a thought. :)

thanks chaitika.
theres actually alot of water exchange.
those holes are bigger than they seem in the pics...
the only place where theres little water exchange is the bottom of the containers.
those are tubifex worms btw.:D

It's a great idea! My solution would be to simply use a small container to take tank water and gently dump it into the smaller containers a few times a day. :) That way, there would have to be some water turnover. I might also drill holes into the bottoms and use sandpaper to remove any sharp edges.

true...but i assure you theres plenty of water flowing through it.
i didnt want to drill in the bottom simply because wehn i do a water change, there will be no water in the containers...
plus the food just drops out.

im glad my ideas are getting put into use. it works great to a certain extent. until u gohta find yourself a bigger container. i added a airstone to my containers because i was worried about the lack of air.

i wanted to use bigger containers.
but i could find one the right size....seems like the wider the containers get,the shorter they become.:irked::irked::irked:
dont endlis breathe from the top anyways?LOL.
but i'll add airstone if i see it isnt going too well...
thanks for the idea!

when there small and still have their external gills they dont go up for air yet. once the gills are gone them they start taking there dips for air.
rest assured about the air though. i was just being precautious.
i had 24 in a container for 2 days without any powerhead blowing towards it or airstone.
