Colt McCoy is not only their best player, but he was also the link that kept the team together... as QB's tend to do. You take out both of those things and put in a guy has had very little experience getting to lead the time and be that link, well that's a recipe for disaster.

You have to be kidding me, Texas is SCREWED now. Their defense better not let Alabama score or it's over basically. This is insane.

My alma mater is a part of the Big 12 Conference (KSU). I'm always going to support the BIG 12. Texas shall prevail and be victorious. The SEC is not the toughest conference in the nation.

Texas is the better team. If the Colt was healthy they win easy. That Bama team is so overrated. They don't ever have a DECENT QB. Sh1t just fell in line for them. You put them aginst any other title team they gert hammered. JMO

I was stunned when it was 21-24. They did very well with the backup after they knew they weren't going to win it in 1 play.


I would agree. I mean hell it was 21-24 at one point with a freshman back up QB. If Alabama was THAT good they wouldn't even have let them catch up and ended it with 37-6 or at least 37-13.

Welcome to the SEC. When you play a bunch of pansy teams in that cowboy conference out there you dont get hit like you do in the SEC. Colt being hurt? Well we would have won anyway, but that's how we play football. He's been tip-toeing through the tulips and he just got crushed by an alabama defense.

Don't worry. It happens. McCoy lead a tough offense. As the Bear used to say, "Offense wins ball games, DEFENSE wins championships."

4 straight SEC National Championships = SEC DOMINANCE!!! If we're not the baddest then maybe one of you other conferences could try and win one this decade.

I watched the boise game and they impressed me more.haha USC from last year when they got screwed over.. that team that hammered penn state, would have crushed this alabama team. I have no doubts. Their defense was one of the best in college history. Just look at their players in the nfl this year.

There needs to be a playoff why does some computer poll decide who plays for the title? Call me a hater but any other sport playoffs decides the champion and not money and computers you finish it ON THE FIELD. Decide it on the field and not in a stats bias scale that rates the sec above all. As I remember Iowa, Ohio St, Penn St and Wisconsin all won their bowls but they beat the crap out of each other all year. They should settle it on the field. Alabama was nothing more than an Iowa with a better running back. Their defense would carry the team and they would pound the ball. Just IMO USC last year was one of the best teams I have ever seen..no national title because there is no playoff.
Boise State is also undefeated are they not? Unbeaten and not a champion..

I meant the SEC. No matter how you want to break down the stats in nearly any period of football history, teams which are now part of the SEC have been dominant (excluding the early years of ivy league dominance.)

When was the last time your team won a championship? Never? We won one last night. Bama suffered from all sorts of problems for nearly a decade because of some unethical practices from former coaches and that snitch Fulmer. It slowed us down for a while, but now we're back on top. Get used to it.

Frankly I love dealing with haters like you. Just makes it all the more special when your overrated second rate teams lose to us. I love to hear the cry babies whine and whine.

Show and prove. Leave it on the field. I support a playoff system. I'm fine with that. Finally give us a chance to show how lousy other conferences are against real teams. Don't get me wrong, the cream of the crop of other conferences are superb, but by and large the rest of the conference is usually garbage. Not so in the SEC although we do have vanderbilt etc. It's a war of attrition. Even if you guys beat a few SEC teams in bowl games it doesn't really matter because game in game out your teams wouldn't put up the numbers they do if they played in our conference. It's almost a different game.
