The Best GSP Diet?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
snails and other invertebrates such as ghost shrimp and brine shrimp are a good substitute along with a high protein flake or pellet like NLS as a stable diet

Brine shrimp are basically non-nutritious (98% water) & puffers will rarely eat flakes/pellets. Is this what your GSP eats?

Like I siad in an earlyer post, he does eat very well, flakes, forzen blood worms, frozen feading frinzy cubes, crickets and any small snails I can get my hands on.

yes or at least thats what they ate when I had them

while i was housing a friends two C.irrubesco's temporarily i noticed them eat flakes, even shrimp pellet food with their regular diet, although its only been with them where i've seen that behavior...

a GSP i recently sold to a friend took to flakes for some reason. its not like i starved them or under fed them or gave them a poor diet. i keep it varied. mine get bloodworms, squid, mussel, market shrimp, clams, krill, mysis shrimp, silversides, my GSP picks at the dried seaweed i put in for my lawnmower blenny and others that pick at it

I just gave Pete two small pieces of night crawler. BAMB!! He hit that stuff before it made it half way to the bottom. Loves-em!:headbang2

I will try to post a pic today. Thanks
