The best "Wet Pet" ?

Uaru can be amazing wet pets.

Large, owner responsive (and not in an aggressive way - mine always wanted to be "petted"), will eat lettuce or other greens out of our fingers...

I'd go with a Midas/Red Devil or Trimac. If you don't mind the hybrids, then Flowerhorns are a good option as well.

No way a betta has more personallity then a cichlid. The OP is also asking about CA/CA cichlids as a wet pet.
