I was thinking about the bottle. Its the opposite setup of the bubble counter in the DIY CO2. If you pump air, it gonna spit the entire content out!!!
thats what its supposed to do. but It will be on a timer so it will only "spit" for a few minutes at a time. it should work but only if:
- the pump can produce enough pressure to raise the water up and push it through the mist nozzles
- the seals handle the pressure

Um, no offense, but did you really "think of this"? I mean, this is something that has been used for years. Also, Petco recently just started carrying the exact same product...

I'm not trying to be a dick, I just don't understand what the difference is between what you thought of, and what is already available...

Lol, you should know indeed. I am at store 705, in Laurel Maryland. We carry it. Here is the link to the item: http://www.petco.com/product/105899/Zoo-Med-Habba-Mist.aspx

My store carries a much cheaper version of that, but it looks exactly like what you drew out. Also, the one I gave the link to is the same, except it actually has the programmer included, which is what you were saying.

But once again, it would be much cheaper to use a 2-liter. Also, put the air intake hole at the bottom, and put a air stone for a diffuser on it. So, you have a 2-liter coke bottle, with an air line running from an air pump into the bottom of the coke bottle. This makes bubbles and builds up the pressure. Then, you have the exhaust tube coming from the cap, into the tank. Very simple, and cheap. Petco has the whisper pumps for about 12 bucks. All in all, you can build this for under 15 bucks easy, with our 20% discount.

Dude, come on now....You are planning on hooking a misting system up to a bearded dragon, into a cage that is too small? Also, that is waaaay too much humidity for a corn snake, it will give him water blisters, or fungus on his scales... For a crested, maybe...depends on how little you mist it up.

What you suggest doing would be perfect for a tree frog or maybe a Cham.

dont get all aggro on me... aint a friggin retard. U obviously dont get it. The misting system will only spreak for about 1 minute 1 or 2 times a day... and the nozzles will be adjusted in each tank to allow different amounts of water through. theres gonna be humidity and temp gauges in the tanks so I can keep the humidities right. So dont act like u know everything... cuz i aint dum.

Theres only one thing worse than a know-it-all n thats a know-it-all who acts like hes the only one who knows anything...

to be honest with u
all this thought isnt worth it
when u can buy a misting machine yourself for 20 bucks
yea but they wont work the way im thinkin of doin this... and i always find it a nice bonus to have the feeling of accomplishment you get from building your own things...
