The gar vs the arowana. Which one would you choose?

Very hard question. Three months ago I would have said aro's(I have a 24" beloved silver) but having got a 12" spotted gar it's rapidly becoming my Favorite fish!

Considering my first ever group of acient fish was florida gars i would go with gars. currently have 4 florida gars raising them up hopefully will try to breed them one day

Gar tank. If it was a single aro vs. single gar, I would have chosen the aro, but aro communtities just look too JDM'ish for my taste (even when they are kept in a proper sized tank)

Love both the aro and gars. therefore i got 2 tanks 1 for aro and 1 for gars.

gars. i love the way the paddle around with their fins. also i have mine eating from my hand and one floating pellets.
