the hardest thing about fish keeping

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yep, I have to keep telling my self my tank is working perfectly don't mess it up.

I have this problem as well, then there are the times i'll see a fish i really want, for a cheap(ish) price, but then have to stop myself due to not having a tank lrge enough to house said fish long term... Kinda sucks when you live in a place where realestate comes at extreme premium prices...

bordom, i get bord with stock quickly so end up changing my tanks around alot wiether it be aquascape or stock, i cant decide what i want to keep long term im finally getting my stock how i want it now.... how long will that last though lol... its not fair on the fish and same as above if its rare i buy it then worry about whether i actually wanted/needed it or if i had space for it. so on a whole i guess its my own irresponsibility that bugs me, its too easy to make visiting the lfs's religiously your hobbie, or sitting on here instead of enjoying your actually tank!

My biggest issue too

Knowing that some 40% of my stock has someplace they would rather be. That really gets to me sometimes.

I'm upgrading to a 300 for my polys and gars right now. The gar dont bother me. They act like puppies, and genuinely seem to enjoy tank life. But some of my finicky polys are positive im going to eat them one day. I don't like that.

The 300g will buy me a year or two before I start to feel like an oppressor again heh. 900+ is off in the distance somewhere. Its going to be the ultimate paradise for my stock with an enormous footprint.
