I didnt say it was as good as star wars but it's the once in a generation trilogy that had a huge buzz, everyone watched and set box office records. Same as star wars

Unless you'd rather give that title to Harry potter

That's true...But look at what went into making LOTR. That was an amazing feat! I don't think HP can compete with it on that side of the fence. And while we're at it, what about Pirates of the Caribbean? That's some pretty impressive stuff there too...
 
Might as well...if we're talking demographics and stuff...

I'm talking what they put into the movie to get it done. I don't know how they made Harry Potter but how they made PotC and LOTR was nothing short of amazing!

Loathing Twilight like I (only naturally) do, I have no clue what they put into it behind the scenes besides drama and glitter...

Even tho their movies came out around the same time, I still think of HP as the next generations, where as LOTR was ours.
