OMG! <-- and i never say this

Thank you

Wow, thats one heck of a filter set up. I'm impressed that the pothos is pulling that many nitrates out, that's amazing

So am I, I don't know why I didn't add it sooner.

impressive tank and nice idea with the plant it's look natural....

Definitely not my idea but I was hoping that it would blend into my background and do far I'm digging it.

Thanks again to F1 VET and JK47 for there informative threads, everyone should look into adding these if possible!

Thanks again for reading :)

Sorry to detail such a great thread, but JahJah, maybe you should talk to that LFS ahead of time and let them know if they ever want to get rid of that tank, you'd be happy to give it a good home :naughty:

great tank simply amazing

Thank you

niceee i wanna see finshed product nice wood work man

Thank you for the compliment, I would like to see it finished as well, lol!

I've been a bit caught up in another project (you guessed it, another tank :D) and the time I have allotted myself every week for tanks/fish has been getting eaten up by it. I do have one side cut and ready for paint, but still need to get the front and the sliding door done. Hopefully in the next few weekends when I have to build a stand for my new tank, I'll get the few hours I need to finish the display cabinet up... Although I've been "a few weeks away from done" for a while now, lol.

Small update:

I've moved "Ippo" my male JD out of his grow out tank to my main tank. He's about 5" now and is getting along great with the rest of his tank mates:

I also re-aquascaped a bit. To break up any existing territories before he went in. All of the fish seem to be enjoying the new setup and there has been a significant gain in tank movement:
