Well I must say, thanks to our little friend The Masked Shadow The Masked Shadow , I feel enriched this morning. I always thought, thanks to the U2 album cover of the same name, that The Joshua Tree was just a spiky old cactus stuck in the middle of the desert.

Delving into the matter further I now realise that the joshua tree isn't classed as a tree at all, nor a member of the cacti family. It is regarded as a 'succulent', part of the yucca plant family and It is protected under US law.

And Joshua Tree is actually a PLACE, with not only spiky succulents but houses, shops and people too!

Apparently though, it is a place where the streets have no name and, with or without you, you'll still not find what you're looking for (U2 officienados will get that one, lol).

Not out, just skimpy tank tops. Their food is awful.

Lol, i've got an image in my mind now of blokes walking out of the place with their wives reading them the riot act like they were naughty little schoolboys. All the blokes have their food all over the fronts of their shirts through 'not paying attention'.

I believe they are a chain of restaurants all over the US. The food might be crap but they must be doing something right. I wonder what keeps alluring people back in their droves to make them so sucessful, lol.

My parents had Joshua trees growing up at their house and I had to go cut the damn things out. They were growing into the foundation and causing problems.

Anyhow I like cactus but I don’t like Joshua trees or Yucca plants and I don’t care that much for palm trees, though we have two.

I am hoping it will one day get cold enough to kill the damn things, so I can get rid of them; because they will not die willingly, and my wife would not let me remove them on purpose.

By the way, I went to Hooters one time when it opened in Fresno. The food was horrible and the place did not do a good business. There were a dozen better restaurants within the same mile.

They are supposedly known for their chicken wings. Buffalo wild wings is way better and imo that's still crap. I can make better wings in my air fryer at home. Currently no knockers here though......

Now those look good. If you get your wife on board maybe this could be the opening of a lucrative new business venture for you, rivalling Hooters. Of course, to avoid any copyright issues on the name you could call your joint 'knockers'. And if your wife isn't too chuffed with the idea maybe you could do the serving in a pair of very tight, ill fitting shorts.....and call the place 'gonads'.

Though I must stress at this point, if you chose the latter option I will certainly NOT be visiting your establishment, but I wish you all the luck in the world. Lol.

Eh,Knockers?.....how about a place called Bangers?
