Thats the problem I had with crenicichla. Thats why I got rid of it and started to hate them

The most aggressive cichlid in my tank right now is my female fire mouth. Even my convict is backed into a corner most of the time. I thought fire mouths were suppose to be more laid back than other cichlids!
definitely my red devil, he will tolerate a lot but when he loses patience he is a true monster
This might sound stupid, but I just traded in my male Geophagus Brasiliensis cause it was a prick... BLOODY Aggro fish!!!
Other than that, I tried keeping a Paratilapiya Polleni and that was a ****ter of a thing too!

I have breeding pairs of dovii and the splendida (green morph). The 14-16 inch males charges the glass like it can go through it. You can actually hear the "thud" sound when they hit the glass, especially the 14" male splendida. superiorly amazing aggression.

My large parrot is a push over. I would have to say my 4" RD. My texas is just stubborn. Always trying to start a fight, half the time comes out the loser. frayed fins, missing scales. My smaller KK parrot rivals the RD in agrresion. Luckily, all he and the RD do to eachother is show off. always a stalemate. They both have full fins, great color, and are mouth developing nice cichlid humps
breeding cons are really bad as far as attacking me while i am cleaning tank/glass. but i have a little geophagus Pellegrini, he was a b*tch. he would chase around every fish in my tank relentlessly. but he is now in a 30 gallon with my Red Tailed Shark. and i also have a red tailed shark. that fish was like an old man, if anyone came near his little china hut thing, he would chase them away, and continue to chase them around the tank until they are huddled up by the filter intake tube. but i removed him from my 125.
