lol my convits were downright nasty to each other when they paired up i had 2 pairs in a 29 gallon and they were going at it all day so i fianly had to put up a divider with either pair on each side it was funny

totally agree~! :naughty:

pound for pound toughest fish.. melanochromis auratus.this mbuna is super crazy .try keeping a male with convicts much larger than him breeding or not,and you will know why i said this.
i did try it actually.lol

Just depends on personallity. I have seen Super aggressive RB's and super timid rhoms. Every fish has its own personality. There is no "most aggressive piranha".
Pound for pound toughest fish is a piranha IMO. There is no other fish that has the ability to take huge chunks out with a single bite. If they had killer attitudes there would be no fish that would stand a chance pound for pound.

I do agree, it depends on each fish personallity. As i have commented before I know a guy how keeps reds and caribas and he says:

"Everybody says caribas are far mor agressive than reds but my reds have taken down two caribas so far, so you tell me which is the most agressive???".

Cheers.

:ROFL:omg
I wouldn't come to any conclusions of which species is more aggressive based on witnessing one or two specimens.
Theres alot of brantiis out there that are extremely imressive.
I don't even think that Gibbus is a concrete species yet so theres no argument.

Come on people.

And your caribas wouldn't last to long in someone elses tank so who cares.

i dont even know if this fish is vicious but one of the scariest fish is the goliath tigerfish.

you want to scare people get a one of those

About anything breeding or with fry will defend their young.....IMO snakeheads protecting young are a lot meaner than convicts. They get nasty!!
