Thats all I use too, POS. Rather spend the $s on another ray.
I think having them all in tanks makes them lighten up and look that much better, rather than the pond.The need to make room shuffle.

There's absolutely no doubt. I found light substrate with dark accents, in tanks lit with halides, can do wonders. Unfortunately halides seem to have the same effect on the electricity meter as NOS does on an engine. Problem 2 is it seems to take a good 6 months or better to clean up a "ponded" pattern. My blonde is still recovering and she's been pond free for more then a year.
Couldn't agree more about the camera. I just about bought one 2 years ago and ended up buying a pair of rays with the $......
This time around I'll buy some LED lighting instead of the camera. lol
