I dunno the "In" fish, but i think a BatmanRay Pair would be awesome... if they lived.

BATMAN RAYS they are deformed and not a normal natural fish you will find something like this will only be big and expencive in asia were deformatys go for big money

the flowerhorn was a joke how can anyone get so excited over a man made monster

i dont know about the in fish but i have kept aros and rays for close to 15yrs and if i didnt have an aro then i wouldnt have a tank

everything else in my tank are just tank mates im just lucky the fish that mix well with my asian aro are nice :D

I don't look at it as... do I have the 'In Fish'... there are many fish that I like, and would like to keep, but IMO, I won't be able to choose my favorite until I've either kept them all, or many. And of course that is going to take many years and a lot of experience, but that is also why I like the hobby... its not something that you will get bored with, or 'figure out' in a couple of years. There are so many types of fish I want to keep, and they all take different skills to keep well.

And yes I agree, if you buy something because it's In, what will you do with it once its Out?

Yeah, I would love to see a pic. Do you remember how many stripes...that's key. The other Leporinus species are very common (fasciatus and affinis) but I never see desmotes around. Maybe it's a New England thing. :D
