Alright everybody, lets share all our longest kept/oldest fish all you have had over the years. Doesn't have to be a ca/sa cichlid but preferred. Feel free to share pictures, maintenance routine, tank size, and diet for those longer lived fish. Also would like to see how many fish are either dying due to natural causes (whatever the cause) or are keepers just getting bored and move on to other projects.
I've only been in the hobby for about 4 years now so my longest lived fish that will be with me till the day he kicks it from being old would be HULK my 12" F1 hogaboomorum. He's spending his time in a 75 gallon that gets 2x weekly 50%WC and eats NLS Jumbo fish formula, YFS carnivore pellets, and some freeze dried krill every so often. He made it through a pretty solid case of HITH a while back but is still as healthy and mean as ever.
Were approaching 2 years in may care and was a few months old when i got him at about 2.5"
