The Oldest/Longest Kept Fish You've Had

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've only been in the hobby for about a year and half and I've been breeding and keeping cichlids for less than half of the time so I don't have many old fish, but my oldest is a gold severum. I'm not sure how old he is but I know the previous owner had him for over 6 months. My arowana is also pretty old.SDC11116.JPGarowana and others.JPG

I have a morrowi catfish that I got from a fellow member on here when I first joined. He had her for the first 16 years, I have had her over three now, she is 19.5 years old. Side note: I never see this fish, lol. She does live with my Mbu and is named Granny.
