Did a monster water change and figure I'll take some pics of the sump. I moved stuff a little as nitrates were starting to develop after all the rays and other stock got into the tank. Still everything else zero. After talking to a few ray owners what I am seeing is normal oh well added a a drip plate over Bio balls. pothos plant ,Air pump pumps air through pond matrix and Bio balls and added the pond matrix 8 liters worth. should be good forever once the drip is setup. Ya once it's setup. But without the drip system I am still seeing higher nitrate readings from the water. Only after about 3+ hours of pumping water in and out I see a good drop in nitrates. You do the math and figure out how much water that is. I know it's allot probably 400 gallons or so. I've been slacking and taking my time more now finishing everything but still am working on it slowly with other stuff going on.

Well couple changes. First I got a new ray which I really really like allot.

Also worked on the drip system last night. Chose a very simple route and this is what I came up with. Still going to finish off a little but you will get the idea.
A plug is in the sump drain right now and in going time open it tonight wanted to make sure it was all dry and cured. Alsi water lines go to little valves like under sinks and I can control flow with those. I will add little water line off the valve into sump and attach valve to stand. I'll add more pics when its all finished. I ran hot and cold water so I can add whatever water I want anytime and even much water. Also the valves will let allot of water flow through them so I can flush out allot of water if u want. The drain pipe is 1.5inches so lots of flow available.

I'll still add an elbow in the sump to adjust water height. Also the drip is going to go in right near the pump so all the new water will be mixed and sent to the main tank super fast.
