You posted world in the subject, but Aquarium in your post.
(both could be extremely different answers i think)
If it were king of the fishy WORLD, I would say a Whale shark. Since its the biggest and has no known natural enemies besides man.
King of the Aquarium? Well, if its a home aquarium, i would have to say a Dovii or Umbee.
When i think of KING, i think Beautiful, but i mostly thing BIG, strong, doesnt have any enemies, doesnt take crap from anything else. And when it talks, the other fish listen.
Discus to me would be the rainbows of the freshwater world. But King? Not nearly.
