  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I love Sajica. I have 3 and at first I thought I had a trio but now i think its 2 males and 1 female. Mine are still small but they are looking good.

Wow i really want one seeing all these pictures now!! But the problem is they aren't very common.
Did you just write a description without having owned one yourself?

You could have just posted a link to a description instead it seems :9

Still thumbs up for effort though, i guess :):nilly:

I kept one in my early days and have seen a lot of people asking about them, wondering about them. I DID not, i repeat did not take this off of a link.

Thanks sarah, would mine be a male do you think? And do they ever stop eating because mine doesnt, he picks on the little senegals then the blockhead picks on him then the blockhead picks on anything the the sajica starts on the blockhead and around we go again lol
thats why he looks a bit battle scarred, cool little chap, or chappess,i dont know yet lol
Whats the averarge max size?
Apparently the lfs had a few in and sold them all but then this little fellow was found living in the 2" filter inlet,so when we saw him all alone we had to get him,or her

Whats the averarge max size? 4-6" tops it

As for feeding i do what you suggest above but the sajica will search and search for food, and by the way the water quality is perfect:grinno:
Lets get some more pics on :popcorn:

cheers steve

lol but yeah i hear they are feisty but iv never had one of these guys so dont really know personally what their feeding behavior is like but from the sounds of it, he seems like every other cichlid in my tank right now lol and from my research i think they get like 6in so not too big but can be quite feisty especially when breeding

what is the scientific name for the Sajica???
