The Sajica cichlid

Fins shapes and colors, plus male will sometimes get a hump on the head. Yellow coloring in the fins means female, red is male. Atleast this is what Ive learned. I'd say they are semi aggressive at best.

Should be fine. Sajicas are farely mild compared to other similar sized cichlids.

Im sure that they would be fne with plecs, but in my early cichlid years, Sajicas were my first pair, and damn was she aggreessive! both got destroyed in the end by my texas/jax Xbrid, broke my lil heart!

Here they are just generaly looking amazing!

i just picked up 3 of these guys today.

1 male and 2 females. i had a pair from Rapps years ago and loved them. This is the first time i have seen them "local" had to frive an hour and a half.

thanks spwd, here is her laying eggs, got them to free swimming but then they were eaten by my Synodontis...

Shortly after, my Texas/jag killed my male, that fish was a killer, im sure it would have eaten small children!
