That's cool, I've never seen a M. tenminicki before. Can't wait to see him get bigger!

I don't know what happened to the photos, maybe I didn't wait for them to upload completely... :screwy:

How is the availability of fish in Mexico City? Anything really exotic (Asian Aros or Snakeheads, for example)? There was a member from Guadalajara that said that Mexico doesn't have many really good fish stores but that Mexico City was the exception to that rule. I've been to a few fish stores in Mexico (Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, Oaxaca) but I've never seen anything in the way of monsters.

Terrific creature Dan!!!:headbang2

Well he was right about that......

I live in Mexico City and if you want something exotic you might find it but yet it is not an easy task...

I happened to find my turtle in a place called the fishpet market. I went to buy some life feeders for my redbellies and then I saw the Snapper. Actually I got quite surprised this turtles are very rare in trade of course I bought it at once. It cost me about 40 box.

To find exotic fish spicies is not common aswell. If you are into piranhas like me, you suffer even to find redbellies, not to talk about serras, they are almos out of the question.

I am in touch with one guy who sold me my reds, he is going to get me some cariba in short.

Cheers.
