BUT IT DOES THE SPORT a DISSERVICE when you start out the year KNOWING THE SEC championship game is a national semi final and everybody else is playing for "the other spot".... IT IS HYPE.. to get you all worked up (just like I got you ),,, it "creates the BUZZ" THE MEDIA FEEDS YOU FOR 4 months,to keep the ratings up,,, I LOVE COLLEGE FOOTBALL watch EVERY WEEKEND , several games,, the difference is I dont watch the pre- or post game bs where somebody "explains" how IT ALL HAPPENED,, I just watched it .. I KINDA REMEMBER 15 MINUTES AGO..

Id like to point out many haters will celebrate when a team finally ends the SEC streak but we all know its coming. It doesn't erase what they've done. It doesnt mean they wont be back either
You're foolish if you think the SEC fears a playoff. They play tougher teams in their conferences then the cream puffs that would make a 8 team playoff. 4 is just right to keep the cream puffs out.
Ps, yall bringing up clemson and fl state and doggin on louisville but sleeping on Theee ohio state? Dont forget they're undefeated over 2 seasons now

I dont need hype to see that 2 of the 3 highest ranked teams are playing each other and the winner will be playing for the title game. That isnt the case every year AND if you arent listening to the hype, how do you know its being billed as that? Makes no damn sense why we should ignore that the top seed on the ncaa is playing its last game against another highly ranked team and the winner will likely be ranked in the top 2 by the computers and human polls.....just cuz you dont like it doesnt mean its not true. The truth is in the rankings of those 2 teams meeting up for the sec title. Theres been years where if the higher ranked team had lost, neither would make it.

All this talk about "automatic bids" and "play out of your conference", and now this all turns to Oregon? Now THAT's what I'm talking about right there. Ranked #2 in the country, hasn't played ANYBODY yet, and they're gonna embarrass Alabama? They couldn't embarrass Ole Miss. Or Florida. I don't think they could beat VANDERBILT. rankings, not rating. WTF man, i really don't care if the ncaa is a flawed system. if that's your beef, that bark about that. don't go dragging down the SEC just because they dominate in the system that they're given. The same system everyone plays in.
ps, your popularity/rating doesn't change your record. it'll get you into lower bowl games but it doesn't get you into the title game.
