clm08k i forgot to suggest nls theraA. Its like crack for my polys. Even the big guys go nuts for it. Guve them a good starve then mash some up in tilapia that should work.

Is NLS Thera A similar to reg large NLS sinking pellets? Sounds like it has some secret ingredients. Haha. Mine haven’t seemed to interested in it previously, but I can try it again.

Okay I’ll convert to prime. you guys have reminded me enough times. Was using tetra, but prime does seem to have high regard here. Is prime just for dechlorinator and chloramines in the tap water? Or what does 2x mean?

For prime. 1 cap is for 50 gallons. 2x will be 2 caps, XXX is 3 caps, 4x is 4 caps (200g) worth of water treatment. If parameter issues arise u can 2x to XXX dosage.

For me personally, I've noticed when I do not treat my well water during a change. My polys will shake there heads side to side. Which appears to look like a sneeze and it's repetitive where the water is spouting into the tank. I suspect its the chlorine/chloramine causing this.

Prime® removes chlorine, chloramine and detoxifies ammonia. Prime® converts ammonia into a safe, non-toxic form that is readily removed by the tank's biofilter. Prime® may be used during tank cycling to alleviate ammonia/nitrite toxicity.

@chelseaea 1 cap per 50g is for normal usage as a treatment. Higher doses is temporary just in case of an emergency. If the ammonia or nitrats is always present at high levels. Then recommended to find out the cause.
