LOL, commercial food spam, nothing more, nothing less. None of the info supplied goes beyond the bare basics, things that have been discussed ad nauseum on this site for close to a decade.
As far as ...............
Truth: While these live cultures improve the intestinal flora the real benefit is that fish waste is excreted with nitrifying bacteria present. When we pioneered probiotic use in aquatic feed we set out to create pellets that float and don’t foul water. To do this we needed to add a binder that had buoyancy. Instead of the gluten used by most feed producers we use yeast with live cultures. This means the fish waste breaks down 50% faster and actual feeds the bio process in your filtration system.
The real benefit according to who? The company flogging the food? LOL There is no need to "feed" ones fish probiotic bacteria in order for ones aquatic system (aquarium, pond, etc), and/or their fish, to benefit from this form of bacteria. This is a classic mistake made by all fish food manufacturers when designing and marketing their overpriced "probiotic" health food. As hobbyists it isn't just the reduction in filter maintenance that brings us to use probiotic bacteria in our systems, it is also the concept of competitive exclusion, whereby the good (non pathogenic) bacteria out compete the pathogenic bacteria. Both of these actions can be performed just as easily, and typically FAR cheaper, by simply sourcing the bacteria ourselves. This is precisely why I posted the following a couple of years ago:

The real
Truth is that I can get the same end results, using higher quality feed of my choice, and spending a tiny fraction of the $$ on probiotic bacteria that I have sourced out locally, compared to what the specialty health fish foods are marketed for.
You can blow your company horn all day long, but that amigo is the real truth.
