I do rodeo's and one that rlly offends me is this one PETA has no idea about wht we do how we care for our animals. Buckin bulls have their own nutritionists and trainers and other stuff to make the bull buck like a mad man! And heck the ppl who ride just got ecperience and some practice. Ok first off the bull fighter was tryin to hit the bull with his hat to distract it. And cowboys and cowgirls love there animals to death we dont leave them there to die. It was a accident. Accidents happen. Peta knws nothing of rodeos the animals get treated like gods there. And one of the rodeo's my horse got collic(a twisted stomach) i didnt compete i walked my horse all day from 6-12 at night to help her walk it out. Thats dedication if i did wht they said we do i wlda killed her rite there on the spot. PETA is a bunch of uninformed idiots who know nothing about animals. And they exploit the 1 or 2 dumb ppl who mis treat animals. And rlly wht the PETA ppl do is actually kill the animals rather then save them. They make me so made because of their stupidity...:irked:
 
PETA should focus on things that matter, like dog fighting and seal clubbing. Get rid of those, not fishkeeping.

Anywho...like you said...dog fighting... go after turds like Michael Vick, not the cute old lady down the street with the Yorkie:screwy:

How bout bull fighting? I don't agree with that... due to the fact that they slash the bull to death at the end. That's why I don't sympathize with the people who get cheese-graded every year at the running of the bulls. THAT'S a worthwhile issue. Forget picketing the humane society (who euthanizes a LOT smaller % of their animals than PETA, by the way)
 
My friends dad travels alot, he once went to mexico and witnessed a bull fighting. Not a bull riding, actually fighting it.

They started the "festivities" by killing a goat for no reason. Then they would run around until the bull was exhausted and then they'd kill it. If things got out of hand, they would shoot the bull.

Focus on that one, PETA

Let me correct u here in america we dotn attak the bulls while bullfightin we just play a lil game of tag and try not to get touched. We dont hurt the bull at all but he gets all the time he wants to hurt us. We do everything at rodeos the safest we can but no matter wht sport or wht u do accidents happen we cannot stop
 
Admittedly I used to be a bit of a PETA follower several years ago. Mostly because I find circuses, fur farming, utilization of battery cages, dog fighting, testing upon animals for cosmetics abhorring and they advocated making vegetarian options more common place. It seems at some point (or maybe I didn't notice they were like this all along) they started taking on more extreme and extreme platforms and using cheap shock tactics to force their opinions on other people.

Their rescue of the North Carolina shelter dogs that ended in a incineratior and Ingrid Newkirks half assed, hypocritical explanation was particularly offensive. Also their noble stand against tail docking of sheep? Had they researched a little before launching a full scale media saturation of propaganda would have known its a means to prevent maggots from literally eating the animal alive.

They grasp at straws to end ALL animal suffering however they can't see the forest for the trees and don't focus on what really matters.
Now I loathe their idiotic practices and cringe whenever they make it into the news because it makes all vegetarians or people who care about animals look like wingnut dicks.
 
Oh, by the way... there might be a little bit of...erm...crotch in the 3rd video. When they are showing the pictures after they mentioned PETA's campaign that exploits the Holocost. Viewers beware O_o
 
I hope a PETA spokesperson comes to our school to talk to us... people from different organiztions come all the time. I'll ask "Is it true PETA kills 90% of animals they bring in?"
 
I think you guys will find this highly entertaining.

I go to school very close to PETA headquarters. Directly across the street from HQ is a, you guessed it, McDonalds.
