let see what pisses me off. these are some that i posted in another thread:

- dump people, aka no common sense
- liars
- lazy people
- people who are always late, even when they dont have to be anywhere
- laggers
- people that drive slow in the fast lane
- people that dont use the turn signal
- girls that drive while texting/talking on phone/makeup/etc/etc
- people that still use checks at the store
- people that insist on paying with the exact change
- bigots, purists, snobs, etc. ALL OF THEM. hate them all
- anti-gun people that have no clue what theyre talking about
- fish store employees that think they know everything but have no friggin clue

i would love to check out the lfs's in boston but theres no way in hell my dad and stepmom would take me to an lfs on vacation, or even on the way home from vacation...

There's always the New England Aquarium, which is right near the Boston Tea Party. We all know the Boston Tea party is in your Social Studies Books and class and um how much it would help facilitate your learning.

I totally agree with being annoyed by anti-gun people!
I hate those knowitall employees! especially at my lfs where i go to get sw stuff. i got some mushroom corals a few months ago, and the lady thre tries to sell me an anemone! i tell her, "but ive only got a 78w lighting system." she says, "oh thats fine for an anemone. here, get this one." she points to a condy anemone, which clownfish are almost guaranteed not to host in. i decided to go with a long tentacle anemone, seeing as if it died i could always bring the remains back, or i could bring the dying anemone back. sure enough, it died, and my stepdad happily took me to the store to show it to the lady. ugh... the store's got a great inventory, but the employees are clueless! one guy told me a discus coould go in a 10gal tank!

Ok help me here, im just a naive Brit, but growing up in the country I grew up with country sports hunting shooting and the like so I saw firearms being used quite often. but i find it difficult to understand why people in the states, need things like 9mm pistols and automatic rifles. Shurly these can only be used to cause harm to people.

Its not often you see someone hunting Deer with a hand gun.

from experience brother, you're barking up the wrong tree. it's two different cultures, over here and in England it's not deemed acceptable, over there it's the common.

no worries, theres a lot more to guns than just shooting living things. shooting sports are HUGE over here, with both hand guns and long guns. as for automatic weapons, these have been regulated and restricted for decades and the average citizen will not have access to an automatic weapon. 101% of the infamy surrounding weapons comes from the media. they play the words just right and freaks people out when in reality what they say is not even close to being true.

for example, take the term "assault weapon". these has been used by the media for years to cause fear in the masses. and it worked. when common folk here the term assault weapon they immediately think of a fully automatic machine gun that is used to mow down bodies. but according the law, an assault weapon is nothing more than a semi automatic rifle with a few "cosmetic" features that do not alter the guns performance. its no different than any other semi automatic rifle. i could go on, but ill just leave it at that

Need? No we need food, water, and shelter. After those three are met it's a matter of want and as long as my want does not impinge on your need or want within reason* it shouldn't matter.

*The idea that I can't have guns because you fear that they might get stolen regardless of how secure I keep them and used by criminals is not reasonable. Nor is the idea that banning all guns will somehow make the world a great place. Brit PD don't carry them but then SAS get deployed in civilian areas like Heathrow.

Oh lord you had to get me started. During the Assault Weapons ban (which has expired) I couldn't get a semi-automatic AK-47 knock off BUT with the right permits (Class III or through local gun club) I could by the real thing.
