Sure is an eye sore to all that classy work u did so far lol...but i dont think itell hurt anything. I take it thats all the scrap you have left? Imo u dont really need it if the pieces dont reach across the whole span of the top.

After a second look... use the rod pieces on top like u have (only the 4 that reach the full span) then the two larger pieces u have that dont make it across, put those underneath the top lip centered between the two lips instead of staggared and u should b good to go.

Yep this is most my scrap I still have a good bit of the rods left... I glued those two staggered pieces together and then butt jointed it with 1/2" piece. I wanted it there in the center because the top bowed in so badly right there that it was almost touching the water line... I didn't think putting them underneath the top that would have worked too

Lol time is not an option... That's now how I do things and never have. The bowing is bad but I've seen tanks that were worse and haven't had any issues this is why I spent all the time making sure all the joints were strong

I got one tank out of the 3 moved today, had to put a overflow in it tonight. I'll set it up tomorrow and then hopefully Friday move the 125 out of the way then sat bring the new tank down.. Phew!
Impressive, with the experience of this one you can do the other half even faster and put that in your basement as well
