I'd have to say the worst escape I ever had was back when I first got into venomous snake. I had a puff adder I bought as a juv. and raised. Well I didn't realise that I should have fortified the enclosure. Found out the hard way when i went to feed and I was missing a 4ft puff adder. Luckly I found it and no harm was done but what a scare.

hmmm lost a corn snake in a car in the first week or so of february while transporting it... pushed a hole through the seams of a pillowcase. Got it back about 2 weeks ago. Been on a few road trips between then and now lol. Was pretty cold over those couple of months too.
when i was bout 11 i had a firebelly newt crawl out and i couldnt find him, several years later i went down in the cellar to make sure they sump pump was working and i saw him crawling on the ground of the cellar. well at least he had water and theres usualy a good number of crickets and spiders for him to feed on. ive lost toads from the cats being retarded found 3 out of five within 30 minutes found another one month and half later behind a cabnet all mummyfied. i had a baby snapping turtle once and it escaped couldnt find it, couple days later i hear my mom yelling for me and i ended up seeing the turlte tumbling down the stairs. ive also lost crawfish and well the cats took care of them. couple months ago i lost two albino afc's bcuz i filled their pond way to high and they climbed out
