There was a fire.. and a huge explosion.. deafening ..load as thunder but worse..and my husband went through all the thick smoke and saved the rest..even the little african that is doing okay so far..the little trooper.. i thought i would lose him too:( but he said i have to try and save the fish.. nuts how we love our fish.. but we do!
 
what caused the tank to break?
Looks like the bottom blew out.

did a rock get knocked by a Pacu?

when I bought my 210 - the guy who had it was saying he had a lot of gravel in it to make sure that if a rock was knocked it would have something to break the fall ...

nothing in the tank but the pacus and african cichlid..i just do not know what happened ..whether the fire was first or the tank exploded first .. i don't know
 
I am so sorry liz, my prayers will be going out to you... What caused the fire?
