Didnt see the interview but still, I think there are much more selfless acts that have greater benefit throughout the world. Still a nice thing to do thou....

Every year I help interview and give out scholarships to highschool students, always a fun and great way to renew my faith in the future and people!

Also The school is 30 Min's down the road from my house, and the story is HUGE right now in the news....Like 10 of my friends graduated from C.W.U. :D (They produce more teachers there than any other school in Washington) No wonder these girls are full of class....Self less super classy act....Most news is sad, this is very uplifting to me. Thought it would brighten some days here too...:)

I could have done without the sensationalism (I hate the news for that.) I think its a pretty cool story. All in all its not that big of a deal in what they did. Its just when they chose to do it. In the middle of a competitive game the opposing team came to help thats whats cool about that story. I mean what would you have done? I bet there is not to many people that would have offered to help.

I watch way too many kids cartoons with my boy. The first thing that came to mind was when Lightning McQeen losing the piston cup to push The King over the finish line of his last race in the movie Cars.
I really need to get out more.

The other day I was at the grocery store, and the woman ahead of me had two kids. Apparently she didn't have enough money for some of the items. She gave some of the items back. She wasn't buying a lot. It broke my heart to see a woman with two kids couldn't afford lunch meat or hot dogs to go with the bread she was buying. After thinking about it for a few seconds, I told the cashier not to put the items away. I ran after her and told her I would pay for the rest. I'm not usually a compassionate person, but I just couldn't imagine not being able to pay for the most basic food items. It was a rare moment of empathy, but it provided me with a chance to make a small difference in the world.

That right there is a very selfless act! Not too many people would have done that

Not agreeing with the most selfless act in history but it is an excellent sport gesture and giving what is due.

I wish more people were like you. Did you feel good after you did that?

great story... don't worry, there are still decent people out there.... good deeds are done everyday even if you don't hear it or see it.. good sportsmanship...
