but seriously though, I know people that go through 5 packs a day, that's 10 bucks a back, that 50 bucks a day. 7x50 = 350 50x365=18250.

gives you an idea of how much money they're wasting, give or take a few hundred (missed days etc, LOL)

Spizz, knowing your sports fanatic self, I knew what the link was before I clicked it.:) I agree it was very selfless. Go wurm.

Did you watch the interview with the girls talking to Julie?

Probably not in history, but wow game winning home run (her first home run ever) The first baseman for CW is the all time leading home run hitter in their league, if they did not carry her, her team could have won....They knew she earned it and helped her out. Reminds me of when Byron Leftwitch was carried by his own team mates at Marshal....I have a soft spot for perseverance in sports:D

I understand bro.. and thats why i threw the words great and selfless in there. :headbang2

She did not ask to be carried.....She knows how to play, her knee blew out...Obviously the other team felt as if she had earned it. Who cares about wins and losses? They changed millions of lives with selflessness....I bet her parents are proud....some people actually think about more than just themselves....;)

a very kind gesture on there part.... there are good people out there just seems any more that they are few and far between

Here is a question I pose for you all:

Is there any such thing as a totally selfless act?

When someone does a good deed, it makes them feel good inside. So, part of their motivation for doing a good deed is to make him or her self feel good inside, which would make the act of kindness not totally selfless.

Don't get me wrong. I respect people who dedicate themselves to acts of kindness. I just like these philosophical questions.
