Woop, meant to respond to this. These look great! You've got some really pearly ones in there! I'm really excited to see what they look like at around 3 inches.
What I really like about these 1st generation kamfa batches is the ridiculous amount of variety in the way the fish look. I'd really like to do some more kamfa breeding, I have a female synspilum that's been laying eggs in my community tank...kamfa fry just take so long to grow compared to ZZ fry! I don't know if I have the patience for another batch.

the ones i was thinking of culling are the ones that have a bad flowerline AND no pearls. they seen to be the biggest too and i don't want them harming the nicer ones. i think i am going to try to sell them as feeders. maybe give them to local members who have monsters to feed. they are too big for any of my fish to eat.
i am picking the super fugly ones. they do have very nice body shape, but the ones that are culls at this point have no flowerlines, no pearl, and no color. they are bigger and meaner than the rest and they have been biting my nice ones. if no one wants them as feeders, than i will have to cull them on my own.
i just went to the lfs for supplies and saw that they are selling fry of the quality i am giving away for $15.99. that is more than i am getting for my nice ones. i will post a pic soon of my 2 inch very nice one that looks like he is getting kok
i haven't been able to get on much lately. my 3 year old daughter loves to play games online now and she is very persuasive. anyway, here is an update. there is one that looks like he could be close to a king kamfa but he doesn't have head pearls. too bad he has white eyes too. this first one is him. he is my favorite.
i forgot to add that the first one is the biggest at 3 inches. the rest are between 1.5 and 2.5. the ones in he last two pics are starting to fade. they are pearly and should be nice looking. i have some new pics of my fh x fh fry too. i will post those in the other thread.
