My kids name all of the fish and the dabola is still unamed. Remember when your 1st koliba jumped my son named his sen krex cuz he felt bad about your jumper

Before I read the rest of the paragraph I was thinking "well you already used a T-Rex reference, next step is a velociraptor."

I think it's the perfect opportunity to name your dabola....... "Dabs" hahahahaha. May just be me but I find that too good to pass up

Dabs got shot down. They named him bill cipher if its male and Mabel if its female. Characters from a show they are obsessed with called gravity falls

Endli, still a bit cloudy eyed. I have to remind myself they came in Saturday afternoon and still need some time. lol. I decided to do a little methylene bath just in case it was ammonia burn.
Love the elongated head on the dabola endli.

The sand in tank really washes these guys out, but its only during QT. I think I will try the parasite treatment tomorrow.

Yeah I missed a perfect pic of him an the Koliba side by side. They are pretty much the same length but the endli is just a beast with its body mass and wide stance.

I want the finlet to grow back, part of the reason for the bath. Blue dye will usually color diseased flesh or other infected areas. I wanted to see what was going on. Well no blue dye anywhere so healthy flesh and fins.

I really want to get these guys into the 300 by Saturday so I started parasite treatment last night. They should be clean and ready to go by then. No real signs of parasites but not risking it. Lost an entire established tank before when i was a noob and added wc cichlids to an established tank and soon had the worst outbreak of lord knows what. To this day Im still not sure what it was but I learned my lesson, never have had an issue since I QT all new fish.
