That's like a two week schedule. Not good except for very established tanks. Since you are trying to treat something, there is no way waiting that long is going to work.

You didn't answer someones question about why you aren't allowed to do W/C...

i pay the water bill every 3 months ( well help pay ) now she got the bill ( 112.00 ) she says i can only do w/c once a month.............. BS. i pay the bills around here to so i should beable to do water change once a month.

yes its the money issue..
 
just talked to gma and gpa, said ill offer them 10 buxs a week to do 10 gallon water change ( they wont go more then that. ) and said thats 120 buxs every 3 months towards the water bill. so they said ok. so im going to give them 10 buxs and do another water change sometime this week.

so does 10 bux-10 gallon sound rescendable? and is 10 gallons good enough?

TBH im thinking of just keeping 2 oscars and getting some pictus catfish ( think that will be good )

1 common pleco ( will soon go though )

In your situation it should be one fish. Your grandparents don't know jack about jack and its really hurting you and the fish. Keep only one or none.
