Thinking about getting a dog....

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I used to have an eskie. She was PTS a sleep years ago now.
I miss her and I miss having a dog. I have her collar hanging in my bathroom under her photo on my hair scrunchie holder.

It's possible I will never have a dog again the way the economy is going since it doesn't look like getting a home is in sight unless I get a new job that increases my income at least * ten.

i love boxers-they are energetic and fun. i also love dalmatians-but be sure to get one that isnt jumpy and nervous.. ive had both breeds and love the boxers..

oh and german shepherds are great too.. calm, smart, and can exercise (run or walk) right with you and not get tired.

I thought pitbulls were banned in the UK? Personally I'd never own/trust one, but I would absolutely love a rotty. My other half isn't so keen though, she thinks they're too big for a first dog. And even though they can been really gentle and good natured I'd be a bit more reluctant to let it run around off the leash in a forrest or beach with other people around.

We will certainly keep an eye on the dogs at the local shelter, it would be great to give one a new home.

they are banned and if your caught with one its a fine and the dog is put down with no exceptions, jail time may also be added if you own more than one, breed them or are a repeat offender.
ive heard some people call staffies as pitbulls.

Don't get a Malamute, they are huge and lazy, haha. Yes, I am speaking from experience =P

.. yep, my Chewy was the same way, and I swear, never heard a word I said... In all honesty I needed to dedicate more time to him.
