I thought about housing three tiger oscars with a silver arowana once I switched over to some new fish.. Once I get the arowana it's going to be around 7-8" long, Do you think if I were to introduce the arowana to the tank first, and then introduce the tiger oscars at say 3" long they would be alright? I figured i'd let the silver arow get acclimated first, and then add the oscars. And as they will be less than half the length of the arow I figured it would all even out and the arow would stay a good size bigger than the Oscars as they grew together so unlike your situation the oscars would not be aggresive towards the silver arow? Any thoughts or suggestions?Tank size is the biggest issue, ive never known a silver to be aggressive. Oscars may bully the silver. I kept one with two Os before, they did alright but the aro had some obvious stress from the Os. They occassionally bullied the silver but nothing serious. Either way, the occasional bullying left the aro skittish and constantly fearful. Not the best choice for a tankmate
I don't mean to interfere with the original posters questions by the way, just read your comment and figured I'd ask a question myself.
