delhezi only reach 12-14'', sds really really slow growth rate, same with needlenose gar.

But a 55 gallon is only 12" wide. They will barely have enough room to turn around.

Agreed, your ck and fire eel are going to outgrow your 90 your upgrading to. Look more in the 200g+ range.

Why do we all have to jump on his case, even when the fish are still small? You never know what is going to happen in the future. Give the guy a break already. Sure, he WILL need a large tank for ALL of them. Right now... not so much... how about we talk about a larger tank when they have actually grown a little bit.
Things can change over time. Nothing in my fish room stays the same for ever. Fish are always moving around to different tanks, sometimes larger tanks, etc.

I bought a 3inch Niger for $5, in less then 2 years it reached 23inches and I had to give it away to the fish store as they didn't really want it.

Mine is about twelve inches now and I've had it for about two years.It was about five or six inches at the time of purchase.I can't wait for mine to reach that size.I think the bigger they get ,prettier they are.....The bottom line here is if he made a deal and got what he wanted and he is happy with what he got then he did pretty good......I've never seen a Niger with a higher price tag of about thirty dollars but fish prices vary by location.

silverdollars- grow to 6''... 55 is plenty big... tell me why they need a bigger tank... sure they want more space but a 55 will work
needlenose gar- grow to 7-8'' and stay on top... 55 plenty big.
eel and bichir slow growers and don't need to be upgraded for a while.
You guys act like I am supposed to upgrade right this minute.
