What's your filtration. 10 fish is still alot, their not that SLOW of growers. I'm just worried since you said you wouldn't be upgrading for a long long time.

Sure, he WILL need a large tank for ALL of them. Right now... not so much... how about we talk about a larger tank when they have actually grown a little bit.
Things can change over time. Nothing in my fish room stays the same for ever. Fish are always moving around to different tanks, sometimes larger tanks, etc.
I can see where your concern is AJ. And I do agree with you. But 55 is all for my budget right now, until about 2 months when I get my big check. I plan on getting a 75-90 gallon. I will just have my sds, needlenose, and delhezi maybe some clown loaches. Believe me, if I didn't have to share my tank with my lil bro, I'd just have the sds and delhezi. I don't feel right having the gar or id shark or whatever else my bro has, but since this is my parents house I must obey their rules and make my bro happy. I do like the gar though. He eats shrimp and pellets, I had to starve him off live. I appericate your concern for tanksize, I actully like it. We need more responsible fish keepers out here. I do plan on upgrading.Bottomfeeder;4257265; said:Well, the more big fish he buys for his 55, the more calls you'll getAnd no, you can't keep a Needlefish in a 55. They are active and very nervous. If you slam the door in the room, the Needlefish could take a mad dash and...WHAT??? Nowhere to go, and you have a Needlefish with half a beak and a slow death of starvation ahead of it. They are FAMOUS for smashing into stuff when spooked.
And add responsible to that as well...Bottomfeeder;4257833; said:Well...that's a very reasonable response, Alex. How old is your brother?
