This isn't real sport fishing or any kind of fishing at all - it just senselessly killing of a shark - for what ... a trophy? Real sport fishing require a long fight with the shark during which the shark actually has a chance to escape if they can brake the line.
Also this is the 21 century - People don't have to kill sharks for trophies any more - not when you can buy a life-like fiberglass shark, cheaper than you can go out catch, kill, stuff & mount a real shark.
To me - Going out into the ocean and killing a shark with a gun for a trophy - is basically a kin to the people who catch sharks and cut off their fins. A completely senseless waste of a beautiful animal. And they call Sharks - the mindless killing machines![]()
